Case File: Theft of Rare Unicorn "Aurora"

Case Number: 0924-TU345

Victim: Emily Greer
Location: Greer’s Toy Emporium, 1215 Maple Lane, Aspen Grove
Date of Incident: August 11th, 2024
Investigating Officer: Detective Johnathan Hart

Background:

Emily Greer, the wealthy owner of Greer’s Toy Emporium, reported the theft of a rare and highly valuable unicorn stuffed animal, known as “Aurora,” from her store. The unicorn, a limited-edition plush toy, was one of only five ever made and valued at over $15,000.

Emily Greer is a well-known figure in Aspen Grove, recognized for her opulent lifestyle and her high-end fashion choices. Greer frequently displayed disdain for others when being questioned and often treated others as if they are beneath her.

Despite owning a toy store, Greer has no children and has expressed clear distaste for them.

Greer also noted her strong dislike for animals. I found this an unusual trait for someone who owns a toy store that carries a line of plush animals.

Case File: Murder of Pussy Galore and the Missing Jewel

Case Number: 1101-AB1245
Victim: Pussy Galore (Cat). Owner: Upgrayedd
Location: Pussy Soft Plaza 333 Feline Ave, Seattle, WA
Date of Incident November 1, 2024, ~ 2:00pm
Investigating Officer: Detective Johnathan Hart

Incident Description:

Pussy Galore, the beloved mascot of Pussy Soft Plaza, was discovered deceased her bed at the opening of the plaza by one Lindsay Lips. The circumstances surrounding her death suggest foul play.  At the scene, a faint, floral aroma lingers, suggesting the presence of aconite, a highly toxic plant often associated with ancient folklore. The poison, derived from the roots of the plant, is known for its rapid effects and can induce a state of calmness and tranquility before leading to a gentle passing. Its bright, purple flowers, once admired for their beauty, hint at the duality of nature—capable of both allure and danger.

Pussy Galore was wearing a collar featuring a rare jewel, valued at $500,000 that was missing. The jewel was scheduled to be showcased at an auction that evening created by one Franchesca Furiosa.

Evidence Collected:

  1. Photographs of the Crime Scene: Pussy Galore was found dead by Upgrayedd after opening the plaza.
  2. Witness Statements: Upgrayeed the owner submitted his statement.
  3. Panties: A pair of panties left in Pussy’s bed.
  4. Poison: Poison detected in autopsy. A white powder that turns dark black/purple once ingested.
  5. Lipstick: A lipstick stain on Pussy’s ear.
  6. Glasses: A pair of dark glasses left next to Pussy’s bed.
  7. Email: Email found on computer in the manager’s office.

Potential Motives:

  • Theft of Valuable Collar: Given the jewel's high market value, theft is a primary motive. The fact that it was to be featured in a high-profile auction further increases its desirability.
  • Next Steps:
  • Interview witnesses further for additional details regarding the suspicious individuals seen near the plaza.

Evidence # EM-092-A

Item: Email found on the computer at the Palace.

Yo Boss,

Hope you’re stayin’ cool. Almost had a slip-up last night, but you know I keep things tight. So that item drop you needed handled? Consider it done. Our “friends” were real happy with the, uh, “merchandise.” Had ‘em diggin’ deep into their pockets, and they didn’t blink. That one’s stashed somewhere real safe—like, they’ll never even think about it again.

But here’s the thing—those city vultures are circling. They're sniffin' around the Palace talkin' ‘bout “clean-ups” and “new builds.” Sounds like they wanna make this block condo central. Might be time to, uh, “persuade” some folks to back off, if you catch my drift.

Anyways, our buyer? They know who made the magic happen. I kept it real smooth, and everyone’s hush-hush. I figure, grease a few more palms, and we’re golden.

Gimme the word if you need me to “take care” of anything else.

Jimmy

Thems panties! I’d recognize them anywhere since I bought em fer my girl, Lindsay Lips.

“Where were you at the time of the murder?”

How u know it be a murder? That pussy was lame and slept all the time. I bet she be just tricked out and sh*t. But hey, I be with Jimmy and doin business and sh*t.

“Do you know anyone that would want Pussy dead?”

Hey, ain’t no one want a dead pussy. You get me? But the cat, sure, I know some folks that might be inclined to take her out. Thems chicks be all like jealous and sh*t that their pussies don’t bring in the dough like Galore. Not me, Galore was a solid payday side from the fancy ass food she’d need.

“Do you know who would want to steal her collar?”

Ya should be asking who’d wouldn’t. Dat jewel is worth a fortune. Ya all betta find it or Pussy Galore will be the least of yo problem.
